You are right, that rushing to death is difficult to understand... Although, it does depend on the reason, to rush-- there are reasons, and some that vary on circumstance. Some acceptable, some others might not view that way.

What are the acceptable reasons? In your opinion? [He had a feeling he knew the answer.]

I'm no more troubled than usual. I've had too many reckless friends.

That's understandable, then. Honestly, we were not talking about the same things... but sometimes, I understand why someone might be reckless.

Death can be the only option. Which, I suppose, makes the word "option" a funny sort.

You're referring to the inevitability of the thing. [Someday Methos might die, but he'd made a pretty good run of it thus far.] It will happen for everyone. Eventually. I'm not pretending that's not the case.

Death is private-- or... the ideas one holds. They tend to be. It's something that is hard to talk about honestly. It makes sense. You're broaching the topic for a reason, though.

I've never been all that convinced there is anything beyond it. Which is why I try to avoid it at all costs. [Perhaps he knew differently?]
