Tomoyo offers up two different fabric swatches, a gentle ballet pink sprinkled with the palest scattering of iridescent stars, and a filmy, dusky purple. ]

Which one do you think she would look best in?

[The girl leans forward a bit to see the swatches better, and carefully takes them, as though unsure if she's welcome to do so. She puts the two together, comparing them against each other. After a long pause, as soft-spoken as ever:]

They look a little like sunset, put together like this. Is there purple with stars, and pink without? And a color in between them?

[ He looks apprehensively at the shirts. ]

Aren't those colors kinda... girly?

I don't know... I mean you're the expert! I just have to have a better Halloween costume then my friend Damian this year.
