"We have to get inside, right? Front door is out, back door is out, but I checked online, and there's an option underneath. Old subway line meets the sewer. Kinda gross, but..."

"Could be, depending on if it's an active sewer line or not, I mean, subterranean's always going t be a little gross, that's the nature of being underground"

She chewed at the inside of her cheek for a moment, contemplative, "And a building that old probably isn't going to have modern seismology detectors, so there's the added bonus of nobody thinking it's an earthquake."

Only if we can trick the rest of the block, too, otherwise they'll get outside, realize everything's fine, and that's just going to lead to trouble."

Being able to false-alarm a whole city block's seismology detectors wasn't entirely unmanageable, but it would take some doing.
