[ she tries not to get too excited by the prospect because, you know, he could just be asking her a general question. but if he's offering, well, then she's ready to bounce. ]

[Totally fine if she gets excited, though, because that's exactly what he was doing. He withdraws again, stretching the appendages out to their full sixteen feet in length, another smirk tugging his lips upward.]

[ jubilee laughs and clasps her hands under her chin, bouncing on her heels. those wings are even more beautiful now that they're fully spread and she leans back to take them in. ]

Sweet, [he pronounces with enthusiasm, feathers ruffling.]

Okay, uh ... You gonna be cool with being carried? [An arm extends, motioning for her to move closer.] Guess you could jump on my back, if you prefer? Might be harder to see things that way, though.

If you don't mind carrying me – [ she lifts her arms and gives an exaggerated shrug. ] I'm pretty light! See for yourself!

[And as soon as Jubes' arms are up, Warren swoops in, lifting her off her feet, and taking flight almost immediately.] Hey, you're right! [he laughs, making sure his grip is secure while his wings beat harder, taking them higher.]

Oh, jeez! [ jubilee yelps as her arms go right around him, clinging to him as tight as she can. she tries not to kick up her feet too much, not wanting to hurt him when he's been kind enough to offer her a life.

as they go higher, she looks between the boy and the ground and her face lights up so brightly it might just eclipse her own powers. ]

Yeah, that was kind of— [Well, rude, if he's being honest. Still makes him laugh.

Seeing the way she brightens makes it totally worth the surprise, though. He keeps one arm secured around Jubilee's middle, jerking his head toward the other one while he lifts it.]
