Truthfully, Shay didn't mind the babbling, she was used to having a few different voices in her head, often at the same time, so sorting through this was nothing.

She was also reasonably assured that the girl was not one of the Smoke's agents or contacts in Uglyville, not that she wasn't tricky, but she didn't smell like one of them.
