[ Right now, that thing is a training dummy and Logan very much isn't. That doesn't mean, of course, that she isn't trying, but the spark is...well, faulty or something. It has a mind of its own. Which means, try at she might, no matter how she aims her hands at it...
Nothing happens.
And for the moment, that leaves her little recourse but to run (and stumble) behind Logan. ]
[If anyone was ever going to be immune to one of Rogue's glares, it was gonna be Logan. But he could pretty much get away with murder when it came to her.
Rogue gets back into position, ready to come back at him.] Come on- I'm practically a civilian on the field, Logan.
Trust me, I ain't treating you anything like Irene.
[Irene Adler had been as close to a grandmother as she ever knew.
Rogue drops her shoulder as she rushes at Logan, preparing to find herself flat on her back because hitting Logan was like hitting a wall. Hopefully she can get him in the gut though with her shoulder]
[Flailing might also help, right? Naturally. Terrifying Black-Ops looking men in body armour with high tech assault weapons are definitely afraid of flailing. And hiding. Which is what he's elected to do for the moment.]
[ Thankfully, Charlie's not the student he's talking to. She is a student, sure. But she's new. Recently plucked from the streets, rescued from another attempted kidnapping from the hands of The Shop and brought to this school for her safety. Or so she's been told.
She's not sure she trusts this place yet, so today? She's just observing Danger Room situations and everyone inside except for the guy with odd hair and a love of cigars is flailing around like a bunch of terrified babies.
...this is also coming from the girl who, at age eleven, set fire to a government lab posing as a pharmaceutical company after they killed her mom and dad and who ripped a helicopter from the sky with just a thought, so maybe that's where her opinion comes from.
Not that many past the teachers know this. The students just think she's that quiet and vaguely unfriendly pyrokinetic-telekinetic-precog who hasn't made an attempt to make friends.
When people do leave the Danger Room, she watches each one go with the mannerisms of someone who watches her surroundings very carefully. ]

[ No easy feat, but that's what this session is for, using a heavier opponent's weight against them. ]
