Hey man, Canada's got more than snow and fires. I'm from Alberta, my family's got a lodge up on Blackwood mountain.

[He coughs then, but not from the smoke. His gaze drops to the ground.]

Had a lodge up there. It's blown to shit now, along with a shitload of pissed off wendigo spirits.

Born and raised just outside Calgary. My old man does work down in LA though, so I've been to the states a lot too.

The uh...the wendigo thing is a new development. Blackwood Mountain is apparently historically linked to 'em. My dad was super into all that Native folklore and stuff but to be honest? I still don't know much about what all happened aside from I just about got my head crushed by a body horror spider person who also wanted to eat people.
