[ Oh, anything with beast in the title is probably something you do not want run into. Especially when prefaced by 'charging'.

But between her and the little girl, Clover knows which of them is more qualified to handle whatever wild animal is out and about, and she's not about to let the little girl get hurt or scared. Hey, maybe a little humor will cheer her up in the meantime! ]

Well, if it's charging, do you remember where you plugged it in?

[ ...she doesn't know what kind of place Enchancia is just yet. Apologies. ]

What's a plug? Oh, wait! The little stopper for the bathtub is a plug!

[she's easily distracted from the topic at hand]

He got loose. But he's not scary. I mean, he is scary, but he's really more scared of you.

Uh...what's a Wombeast?

He kind of looks like a big bulldog. And he has wings. He really likes apples. Do you know which was the apples are?

[Yes, that all came out in one breath]

Is he, uh, a monster, or friendly?

Probably on trees. It's the season to pick 'em, though, so there'd probably be some on the ground too.

Um.. both? He's all alone, so he doesn't trust people very well. Can you tell me which way the trees are?

Sure, I can show you. There's an orchard not too far from here.

Why, thanks! That's so nice of you! My name is Sofia. What's yours?

[ ...Crosses his arms while tilting head at Sophia ]

What's this thing supposed to look like anyway?

[ Because it could be possible he ran into it before and might have accidentally scared it...oops ]

Well, he's purple. Um... [how would she describe him?] He's about this tall [she motions to a spot somewhere around her belly button] and he's big, like a.. a.. He kind of looks like a dog or a bear. A dogbear! And he has wings. [she makes a face] He kinda stands out.

[the fact that he has three eyes and horns doesn't even phase her.]

Huh. Sounds like somebody that could fit in my kingdom.

[ Or maybe not. If the Wombeast was that easy to startle... ]

[ Tom will admit it was nice to have her not be so fazed by him, but he had to wonder if she even knew what and who he was. ]

Tell ya what kid, I'll help you look for him, but I gotta get something in return. Doesn't have to be anything big, just a little compensation for my trouble.

[her eyes go wide] You have a kingdom? What's it called? Maybe I've heard of it!

[she nods. That sounds like a reasonable request, of course] Well, you'll have a new friend! [she's not really up on his definition of compensation, of course] Have you lost something? I can help you find it!

[ Grin widens, exposing pointy teeth. He rises up from the ground, fire igniting from the soles of his boots. ]

I am Prince Tom Lucitor from the Underworld.

[ He bows, indulging a bit at the attention ]

[ His demeanor shifts at her next statement. Lowers himself down, pauses before ultimately nodding thoughtfully. Or he made it look thougtful. ]

Now that you mention it, I did. I have a pet bunny, Marshmallow. He likes to sneak off at times, but it would be great if someone could help me get him back.

[ Truthfully, he didn't lose Marshmallow, he'd be in a much worse state if he did, he knew where he could "lose him in a way that wasn't dangerous for anybody involved, but the thought of having a friend, especially from this kid was too...close for comfort. He barely knew what to do with Marco as a friend. Nevermind this girl. ]

[she's politely impressed] I've never heard of that kingdom, before! What's it like? Do you have dragons? [most of the kingdoms she's visted have dragons]

It's very nice to met you, Tom. [she curtsies] My name is Sofia. I'm from Enchancia!

[she gets excited when he mentions a rabbit. It'll be super easy to find the right one, since her amulet allows her to talk to animals!] I have a bunny, too! His name is Clover. He loves to eat. Marshmallow is a great name! What does he look like?

I'm Link. S'nice to meet you, Sofia.

It's very nice to meet you, Link. Are you from Enchancia, too?

No, I'm from the kingdom of Hyrule.

[Between time-travel and alternate world traveling, nothing really surprised Link anymore.]

Oooh. That sounds like a wonderful kingdom! What's it like?

[Sofia loves to learn about new places and cultures and traditions]

It's great! Well, all sorts of people live there, there's Hylians like me, Gorons--they're uh, big guys kinda rock like, and they eat rocks from the caves on Death Mountain--and there's Zoras, they're water-people, kinda like fish, but not quite.

There's also lots of fairies in the forests, and the Kokiri live there too.
